Cape Cottage is our VisitBritain 5 star Gold Award cottage offering guests with physical disabilities every special feature they need.
Built-in 2011, luxury Cape Cottage cleverly blends the needs and comforts for able and less able guests.
Lower Wood Farm’s trademark highest quality fittings and furnishings are not remotely compromised by its adaptations.
Cape Cottage offers an open-plan living area and well-planned kitchen and dining areas, all with the vaulted ceilings and oak beams in keeping with the old farm building style of all our cottages with under-floor heating throughout.

"We have had yet another brilliant stay at Lowerwood Farm. This time included Halloween when Jill and her family provided a fun, safe environment for children of all ages to enjoy the evening. (mulled wine for the parents and grandparents - much appreciated).
The pool is a wonderful place to spend some time and the grandchildren are improving their water skills all the time. A visit to nearby Thrigby Hall was thoroughly enjoyed.
I would absolutely recommend staying at Lowerwood."

"This is our third visit to Lowerwood Farm Cottages and we stayed in Cape Cottage on this occasion.
As we've come to expect the cottage amenities are second to none, everything and more that you would need staying self catering.
We made the most of the 1hr private swimming that you could book daily and use of the bikes.
Our grandson also made some new friends, which is always an added bonus.
Beautiful landscapes and we can't recommend this place enough. Thank you for another lovely stay Jill, you hard work and attention to detail is very much appreciated."

"Another year and another glorious holiday at lower wood farm. Cape cottage this time as our boys are older and we liked the idea of a more spacious cottage, it did not disappoint! What a beautiful cottage, great facilities, everyone loves the wet room shower, superbly comfortable lounge area with a window overlooking cows in the field outside and a framed sunset every night, didn’t want to go home! Thank you to Jill and family once again, we will be back next year. "

Lower wood farm is perfect for families from the lovely views of the countryside, the animals roaming in the fields and the perfect play barn which suited all of my children from ages 2-11.

"We stayed over the Easter weekend. The cottage was beautiful and very well equipped with everything you might need. The play barn was great for the children and had lots for them to do. Swimming was easy to book and the facilities were clean and well thought out. The outdoor play area had everything energetic children needed including bikes and football goals. We had a lovely holiday. "

"The football pitch, swimming pool and play barn meant we easily could have spent our entire visit without leaving LWF. In fact, we made good use of these morning and late afternoon and had three lovely days exploring: hired a boat from Wroxham, did the circular walk from LWF, and went to Bewilderwood. We’re already looking forward to a return visit. "
